Directions to Bovey Tracey Heritage Centre. From either the A30 road junction with the A382 at Whiddon Down or from the A38 road junction with the A382 at Drumbridges: turn on to the A382 road towards Bovey Tracey.

At the junction of the A382 with the B3387 (Marlborough Terrace) and the B3344 (Station Road), is the Bovey Tracey Fire Station roundabout, with the '22 Granite Forms' Millennium Art Work by Justin Knowles.

Turn on to the B3344 (Station Road) towards Bovey Tracey town centre, take the first turning on the left in to St John's Lane, carry straight on along the lane to the Country Store / Garden Centre, then turn left and left again this will bring you to The Old Bovey Railway Station building where the Heritage Centre is situated.

The Heritage Centre may be reached on foot from Bovey Tracey town centre by either:

A. Crossing Millmarsh Park, the entrance to the park is at the southern side of the Bovey River bridge opposite the Old Mill Craft Centre. Exit the park through the gate to the left of the Scout Headquarters building, into St John's Lane.

or B.

By following Station road to the south and west, and turning in to the junction with St John's Lane, then following the lane to the Country Store / Garden centre and turning to the left twice.

or C.

Follow the signs for Jefferey's Garden Centre, go past it to the left and turn left again.

Access to the Bovey Tracey Heritage Centre by public transport bus.

The number 39 bus service:- Exeter - Chudleigh - Bovey Tracey - Newton Abbot runs hourly Mon-Sat until about 8pm, 2 hourly on Sundays. This route will get you to Bovey Tracey town, the nearest stop to the Heritage Centre is by the Riverside inn; you will then need to cross the river bridge and cross Millmarsh park or follow Station road to St Johns lane.

Route 12, from Torbay.

Route 12 runs every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes at weekends, from Torbay to Newton Abbot; to provide a link to the route 39 from the coastal areas.
