Bampton Heritage and Visitor Centre
Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre is located inside the town's Grade 1 listed St Michael and All Angels church. It also acts as a Tourist Information Service.
Displays include local history boards, artefacts, photographs and an 8-foot railway station model. Watch fascinating short films about the old Bampton Railway, the Charter Fair, Bampton School during WW2 and listen to residents' memories. Local area information. Children's activities. Ask about a town trail.
Admission & prices
We are open on Thursdays & Fridays from 11 am to 1 pm, and Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm.

At Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre, we welcome new Volunteers, whether it's working in the Heritage Centre meeting the public, behind the scenes working with our Collection or being a walks leader or backstop......
Information
The centre is located inside the church. Parking (50p honesty box) and toilets within 50 yards. Bampton has many pubs and cafes within a short distance.
For disabled access to the church there is an outside bell and a wheelchair ramp is available.
Children (and well-behaved dogs) are welcome
