Bat walk , Thu 19th Sept 2024 , ADMISSION

This e-ticket admits one person aged 5 and above to the bat walk taking place at Crownhill Fort on Thursday 19th September between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Under 5s do not require a ticket and under 18s must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. Our terms of sale are below, please read before purchasing.

FORMAT OF THE EVENING
The event will start at 6.30pm with a short introduction to Crownhill Fort. We will follow this with a talk about bats that will educate visitors about their lifestyles and dispel some commonly held myths. Hand held bat detectors will be issued to participants around 7.15pm and tour guides will lead you to areas of the Fort where bats are often spotted.

SPECIAL NOTES
The latter half of this event will take place outdoors at night. We recommend you wear sturdy footwear and bring a torch.

TICKETS
Once payment has been made you must complete the order process for electronic tickets to be generated. Please bring a copy of this email with you on the day; you can show this on a device when you arrive or you can print a copy if you prefer. Physical tickets will not be sent by post.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The event will proceed regardless of the weather conditions on the day. If we have to cancel the event due to extenuating circumstances or a change in Government guidelines you will receive a full refund. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred without notifying the Landmark Trust office at the Fort at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event.

CAR PARKING
If you wish to park a vehicle during this event you will require a car park ticket which is sold separately. The parking area is approximately 100 metres from the entrance and vehicles are parked at your own risk.
We are keen to encourage sustainable transport so bicycles can be parked for free and electric bicycles can be recharged at no cost. Crownhill Fort runs very close to several bus routes serving most areas of the city.

REFRESHMENTS AND CATERING
There are no refreshments on sale at this event.
