The next event in the popular series of Thursday evening meetings will be an illustrated talk by Bernard Mills. He has given many talks to the SDRT Museum, but this will be a tour de force of Bernard at his very best. It will cover his entire photographic career – a stupendous fifty years. His knowledge of West Country railways is encyclopaedic, although his railway interests have seen him travel far and wide, so that there guaranteed to be something for everyone. Bernard’s knowledge of the subject, the quality of his photographs and his sense of humour make this an evening not to be missed.
The meeting takes place in Buckfastleigh Town Hall, and doors open at 7.00pm. You can use any town car park – they are free after 6.00pm – with Victoria Woodholme the nearest. The show itself starts at 7.30pm. Light refreshments and the usual prize draw will be available. Entry is free, so do come along for an entertaining, informative and memorable evening.
