Explore Plymouth’s little-known links to the migration of people from the Caribbean throughout the mid-1900s.
Developed in conjunction with Culture Club, a community group who've been working with The Box for the past 18 months to explore and discover new narratives in the collections, Windrush in The Far South West is supported by a National Lottery Community Fund grant.
It will reveal the stories of the people who came to this country to support its post-war rebuilding and their descendants who live in Devon and Cornwall. A combination of archive and contemporary stories and images will provide a fascinating insight into this little-known history.
Open 10am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday and selected bank holidays (not including Easter Sunday).
